It is the ultimate NFL players’ golf challenge where the best-of-the-best from each NFL team compete in a tournament-style golf event. The coveted title of The Professional Open Golf Champion will be given to the winner of the event. There are only 4 spots available for each NFL team, so each team will bring it’s best golfers for this highly-competitive, one-of-a kind match.

This new concept in championship golf has evolved from the “Brees on the Tees” Charity Golf Tournament, hosted by Drew and Brittany Brees and The Brees Dream Foundation. The 3-day event will be held at two of San Diego’s premier golf courses and includes two fun filled days of golf complete with a downtown kick-off party, fundraiser and awards dinner.

The 2-Day Tournament will include the first day of golf with both sponsors and athletes in a small Fivesome group with two athletes per team. On Tuesday, the final round of the tournament will finish with the NFL players competing in a private round of golf for the title of The Professional Open Champion. Both individual and team prizes will be awarded. Both days of golf will count toward the final score.

At the end, an individual Champion and a NFL team Champion will be crowned as the “Best of the Best’ in the NFL.
